Admin
Admin is the section that, though internal systems, events and innovation, makes sure that every single UKEfunk has the best possible experience being a part of UKA. We want every volunteer to feel safe and to have a great time, both on the job and socially. Together with IT, Welfare, Logistics, HMS, HR and Digital innovation, we work to facilitate the growth of UKA. In short, Admin is the wrap around the taco – we are the glue that holds UKA together, though safety and prosperity (and metaphors).
HR
HR plans and organizes UKAs recruitment and internal events. During UKA-21, we recruited more than 2000 volunteers, who all applied, went to interviews, participated in internal social events, and received offers for the infamous UKEmassage. That is why the HR-section has a big, and central, responsibility in UKA. We work together across sections and groups, so this is a place where you will get to know a lot of people from the different facets of the organizaiton.
ITK
ITK is a small and social group of 8-10 people, and a handful of pangtionists. We manage and operate the computer network and servers at Samfundet, the key card systems, develop IT-systems for internal and external use – and help out with events at our round, red House.
Logistics
Logistics is the group that makes sure that all of UKAs volunteers have what they need, when they need it. We have a rather broad area of responsibility, ranging from internal affairs and communication, to transport, equipment, UKEtaxi, inventory, and more. We work alongside volunteers from other sections, so this is a place where you will meet a lot of different people.
Welfare
Welfare ensure that all volunteers feel safe and happy while at work, both before, during and after UKA. We have responsibility of making sure that the volunteers have provisions, coffee and snacks, so they can execute their work well and feel taken care of. Welfare are in contact with all the different sections. As a part of our group you will therefore meet all kinds of people within the organization.
HSE
HSE is the section responsible for focusing on the health and safety of the volunteers, as well as work environment and environmental protection within UKA, and the organization of good HSE for volunteers. The group will consist of around 3-5 colunteers who will work to gether to reduce risk and increase safety for the volunteers thoughs systematic work and traning. We collaborate with other sections, so you will get to know people from across the whole organization.
Digital Innovaton
Digital Innovaton is the team that will develop new and exciting systems for UKA. As a part of our group, you have the opportunity to be creative and bring your ideas to life. The group is responsible for creating digital projects that add value to UKEfunker or the public. In the design of these projects, there is great freedom and the opportunity to develop something big and innovative.
