Festival Guidelines
To offer you a best possible festival, we recommend that you follow the "Festival Guidelines", which are made by Norsk rockforbund and Norske rockfestivaler.
Get an overview
Make sure you know where you can find the toilets, the bars, the first aid helpers and the (emergency) exits. Then you will know where to go if you are in need of anything.
Listen to your body Eat enough and drink plenty of water. Jumping around, dancing and alcohol combined makes the body crave more fluids.
Let people know where you go Tell your friends if you leave the event or go somewhere else. Then your name will not be announced over the speaker system.
Use your head Do not get involved in fights or other dangerous situations. Alert the security if necessary. They are there to keep an eye on you.
Listen to experienced festival goers Follow the announcements which come from security or people on the stage. These are for your own safety.
Do not spread rumours Take the fire alarm seriously. Listen to announcements from the hosts. Do not spread lies or rumours. These can cause turmoil and insecurity.
Do not be a hinder There are always many people around the bars, the toilets and the exits. It is much better to stand somewhere people do not walk.
Be careful Do not push people in queues or in front of the stage. Do not stage dive. Carelessness can lead to damage, both on yourself and others.
Turn around when necessary Show up early if you want to be close to the stage. Do you feel cramped or unpleasant? Walk to one of the sides or diagonally if you want to leave the crowd. That's the easiest way out.
Use earplugs Your ears are there to give you joy and pleasure through music all your life. Take care of them.
