Operation

During UKA, there is a lot going on at the Studentersamfundet, and Hosting at Huset is the group responsible for the working operation. This means, among other things, being responsible for the logistical and practical matters surrounding the implementation of the festival at Huset, as well as security. In Hosting Huset, a lot of work is done on the preparation of good driving plans and safety procedures, and the team will focus on being able to give everyone a good and safe audience experience.

Selskap is the group that will be responsible for the dinners for UKA's visitors. This is a popular offer including everything from gala-dressed celebrants and companies, to larger groups of visitors. Selskap plan the company menus themselves, which consist of three or four courses, but also their own beer and wine menus. Selskap is also responsible for all order logistics around the dinners, and organizes various themed and concept dinners in collaboration with other groups.

Every UKE, the Building Project refurbishes one of the premises at the Studentersamfundet. The group will keep Samfundet forever young with new thinking, creativity and in close cooperation with the groups who will run the venue after UKA. The team is responsible for everything from planning, architecture and interior of the actual demolition and construction. In UKA-21, Rundhallen was the construction project and in UKA-23 it is Samfundet´s multi-room, the Club, that has its turn.

The Café and Serving Group, KSG, has the function of running all bars at Studentersamfundet, as well as being responsible for the operation of Lyche restaurant. This involves everything from putting together food and drink menus, to ordering and distributing all drinks consumed during UKA. KSG will be present at all times during the Huset´s opening hours and is the visitors' meeting with the good service and expertise that UKA and Studentersamfundet have in bar service and restaurant management.
