The PR Section is a diversified section that aims to make UKA visible to the audience, businesses, and the city of Trondheim. The PR committees are responsible for UKA's visual expression, graphic profile, marketing strategy, and communication with the press and UKA's partners.

Film og Foto

The Film and Photo Committee's function is to produce images and videos that move and engage the audience. The Photo Committee, which usually captures photos of all events held at the Student Society, becomes an essential part of the committee during UKA. By documenting UKA's events, the committee creates memories for the audience and valuable marketing material for UKA. The Film and Photo Committee will also photograph and film the volunteers behind UKA and document the process of creating UKA..

The Photo Committee at Samfundet is the photography part of Film and Photo. They photographically document all the events during UKA and publish the pictures on foto.samfundet.no. Before the festival, they work on tasks such as press photos, committee photos, and images for the theater programs.

Grafikken

Grafikken (Graphics) is involved in most parts of UKA. Through idea and concept development, design, and text production, Grafikken aims to make UKA visible and produce marketing materials for all platforms. This includes everything from shaping UKA's graphic profile to the content in the UKEmagazine.

Markedsføringen

UKA-21 sold over 100,000 tickets, making it Norway's largest cultural festival. These sales don't happen on their own, which is why it is essential to develop a unique marketing strategy. The marketing committee plans, coordinates, and executes the marketing of events and the UKA brand. This is a team that works creatively and innovatively, but also analytically and strategically.

Næringsliv

The Business Relations Committee is a part of the PR section of UKA. The committee is responsible for collaborating with external actors in the business sector and acts as a bridge between the students, UKA, and the companies. Business Relations sells promotional products and events to companies and organizations and is responsible for coordinating events, as well as ordering and planning branding materials.

Presse

Every year, UKA receives hundreds of inquiries from the press, both locally and nationally. Effective media handling is essential for the organization's reputation. The Press Committee serves as the link between UKA and the media world, responsible for all communication with the press. Press is a visible committee, overseeing the entire UKA, and they are the ones who set the overall guidelines for how UKA should present itself to the public.

Profileringen

The Branding Committee designs UKA's promotional products that make UKA and our partners visible. They are responsible for planning and executing small and large construction projects that are part of UKA's marketing initiatives. Branding transforms the premises at the Student Society into creative concept spaces that showcase our partners. Additionally, they let Trondheim experience UKA by building fun and unique artworks that are placed around the city.
