UKA-23 can finally present the entire cultural program for this year's festival. The program offers a wide variety and promises a fireworks display of art, music, debates, and parties.

UKE Chief Kari is full of praise for this year's cultural program: "This year, we have a lot of cool stuff on the lineup. It's incredibly exciting to have international guests at UKA again, and I think we've hit the mark for both students and the Trondheim audience. What's especially cool is that we've managed to make room for artists who are on the rise in Norway and the Nordic region. I look forward to seeing what they deliver!"

Årets

Traditionally, the Promenade Concert takes the honor of opening the festivities, closely followed by the unveiling of this year's UKA name. The UKE Revue is once again getting ready to fill the Great Hall with laughter and song, while the Children's Theater is staging the play "The Time Uncle Kulle Went Crazy."

Podcasts, True Crime, and Unforgettable Moments

During this year's UKA, there will be debates on current topics, including polygamy and workplace-related education. Fetisha is coming to the Great Hall with a live recording of the podcast "Fetisha + 1." The true-crime podcast will uncover shocking crime stories. Odda and Henrik promise an evening full of unforgettable moments. UNKT HHØNT, Olli Wermskog, and Tidenes Roast are also on the lineup.

Tasty Experiences and Creative Courses

For those looking for tasty experiences, there will be opportunities to sample a wide range of alcoholic beverages. From sake and beer to wine, gin, champagne, and whisky, there will be something for every taste, whether you're an experienced connoisseur or a beginner. If you're eager to learn something new, October is the month for you. Throughout UKA, there are a variety of courses offered, including bartending, sewing, sourdough baking, fire breathing, and acro-yoga. This is a golden opportunity to acquire new skills or refresh old ones.

Musical Highlights

Of course, there will be opportunities to experience musical performances from both new and well-established artists. 50 Cent is returning to Trondheim. Arif and Stig Brenner promise to create a great atmosphere in the Valley of Death. Metteson, Cezinando, Jonas Benyoub, Sirkus Eliassen, Fieh, and Fay Wildhagen will provide unforgettable moments in the Great Hall and Nidaros Cathedral. UKA's own internal musical groups, including the UKE Choir Pirum, Pirum Old Boys, Knaus Choir, Candiss, TSS, and TKS, will ensure musical highlights throughout the festival. Kjellerbandet and KUP invite young and old to a silly and delightful adventure with Knutsen & Ludvigsen as the backdrop, a French evening with S. Møller Big Band, and performances by Snaustrinda and Strindens Promenade Orchester.

For those seeking a more intimate music experience, Knaus, one of Studentersamfundet's concert venues, will present everything from alternative rock bands to future pop stars like Kristine Bø, Synne Sørgjerd, Sakte Flyt, Con Jon, Leg Mode, Vepsestikk, and Vrengt.
